GetHumanDesign is the developer of Human Design & AI Chat, our Android app on Google Play, and of the website gethumandesign.com. It is one account for both — the app is our website in an app window — so anything you delete is deleted in both places. You can do all of it yourself, without contacting us.
You do not need to delete your account to remove data. Sign in at gethumandesign.com or open the app, and delete any of the following. Each deletion takes effect immediately and cannot be undone.
Removes their name, birth date, birth time and birth place. They are also removed from every group they belonged to; the groups themselves stay.
Removes the group and its member list. The people in it are not deleted — they stay in your people list.
Removes the conversation and every message in it, yours and the AI's.
The share URL stops resolving — anyone who still has the link gets a "not found" page.

Whatever you delete is removed from our live systems immediately, and purged from our encrypted backups within 90 days. Nothing you delete is retained in any other form. Everything you do not delete — your account, your other saved people, groups and conversations — stays as it is until you delete it, or until you delete your account.
Deleting your account removes your account and all of the data described below. It takes under a minute.
Uninstalling the app does not delete your account — your data stays until you delete the account itself with the steps above.
Email us at hello@gethumandesign.com from the email address registered on the account and ask us to delete it. We verify that the request comes from the account holder and delete the account within 30 days.
All of the following is removed from our live systems immediately, in one irreversible operation, the moment you confirm:
| Data | What it includes |
|---|---|
| Sign-in details | Your password hash, any Google or GitHub sign-in links, and all other credentials and access tokens associated with your account |
| Account details | Your email address, plan, Stripe customer ID and language preferences |
| Saved people | Every person you saved — name, birth date, birth time and birth place |
| Groups | Every group you created for group (Penta) analysis, and its member list |
| Chats | All of your chat conversations and every message in them |
| Usage records | The request log and the message and token counts we keep to enforce plan limits. What each AI request cost us is kept — see below — but with nothing left on it that points back to you |
| Share links | Every public link you generated for a chart or a conversation stops resolving — anyone who still has one of your share URLs gets a "not found" page |
| Cancellation feedback | Anything you typed into the "why are you leaving?" box if you ever cancelled a subscription. The payment record itself is kept — see below — but what you wrote is not part of it |
Deleting your account also:
| What we keep | Why, and for how long |
|---|---|
| Encrypted backups | We take an encrypted backup of our database every night so we can recover from an outage or a data-loss incident. Deleted data can still exist in those backups until they expire, which happens 90 days after each one is made. |
| An anonymous deletion record | One row containing a freshly generated random ID (not your account ID), the date you deleted — the day, not the time — and a set of broad descriptions of how the account was used: roughly how old it was, how recently you were last active, roughly how much you used each part of the app, which plan you were on, your language, and whether the account ever had a Stripe subscription. Each of these is a wide band rather than an exact figure, on purpose. If you answered the optional question about why you left, your answer is kept here too. The row holds no account ID, no email address, no name and no birth data, so it cannot be linked back to you. We keep it indefinitely to understand why people leave. |
| An anonymous record of what our AI calls cost | Every time the assistant answers, we record what that answer cost us to produce: the date and time, which AI model ran, how many tokens it used, and which plan it was billed against. These are our own accounting — the money has already left our account, and deleting the rows would change what we know we spent in months that have already closed. When your account goes, the link to it is removed, and so is the reference that grouped the rows into a conversation. What is left is a line saying an AI call happened and what it cost. It holds no account ID, no email address, no name, and nothing you or the assistant wrote, so it cannot be linked back to you. We keep these indefinitely. |
| Payment records | If you ever paid us, we keep a record of each payment — what you paid, when, the country it was taxed in, and the reference numbers the payment has at Stripe so an accountant can match it to the invoice — because tax law requires us to. Once your account is gone that record is no longer linked to it, and it holds no name, no address, no email and nothing about how you used the app. Stripe, our payment processor, keeps its own fuller record of the payments and invoices, including the billing country you confirmed at checkout and any company VAT number you entered, to meet its legal, tax and accounting obligations; we cannot delete those on your behalf. Both are retained for as long as required by applicable tax and accounting law (typically up to 7 years). |
Your data is removed from our live systems immediately — the moment you confirm, it is gone and cannot be restored. Our encrypted backups are purged within 90 days. Nothing else is kept beyond the three things described above: the anonymous deletion record, the anonymous record of what our AI calls cost, and the payment records.
